PRODUCTION

Please allow 1-2 business days for the production of your piece. During peak times (Christmas & Mother’s Day) please refer to the sticky banner at the top of the website for the most up to date production times.

If you have a specific time frame you would like your piece delivered by please contact me via the contact us form on the website  before placing your order. I will always do my best to try and accommodate you.

Delivery times are largely influenced by the shipping method selected at the checkout. Australia post has a great tool for estimating delivery times based on your postcode here. The post code your order is being sent from is 4211.
Express post is always the fasted delivery method averaging 1-3 days.
Tracking numbers are provided with every order and are sent via email when your order is dispatched (don’t forget to check junk mail!)

ORDERING

Please contact us as soon as you can via the contact us section on the website or email sales@emandeve.com.au.  If production has begun, unfortunately any changes will incur a remaking fee. If production hasn’t begun I am more than happy to accommodate changes.

 

If production of your order has not begun, I am happy to accommodate a cancellation.
Depending on your method of payment, your refund may be minus the processing fees I am charged for that payment method as these fees are not refunded to me when your refund is processed.

If you haven’t received an order confirmation to the email address provided, please check there are no spelling mistakes with the email provided or check your junk mail folder. Absolutely! At checkout you can enter an alternative address for postage & there is a section which allows you to enter a gift message.  All orders are sent without receipts as these are sent via email.

How many letters you can gave will depend on the size of the piece and the font that you choose. 
Every product has it’s own “DETAILS” section which outlines, for each font, the maximum characters/letters it will hold.

PRODUCTS

Hand stamping is a process where individual letters at the end of a metal shank are hammered by hand Into your chosen piece. As a result of this process the depth, spacing and alignment of the letters will vary for every piece. This is what gives hand stamping its unique character. If you are expecting your wording to be 100% perfectly structured, then perhaps hand stamping may not be for you? We recommend browsing our shop images and Instagram page to get a feel for my workmanship.

As each keepsake is hammered by hand, some slight impressions will occur on the reverse of the piece

All Em & Eve products are made from Sterling Silver, Gold Fill or Rose Gold Fill.  All of these are nickel-free.

Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. The addition of copper is what gives it it’s strength and makes it a great product for hand stamping.

Gold Fill and Rose Gold Fill  is a thick layer of solid 14kt gold that is heat & pressure bonded to a center core of high quality jeweler’s brass giving it strength to withstand hand stamping. Since the gold is mechanically bonded with heat and pressure and not simply plated on, the gold doesn’t fade or rub off – it’s also highly tarnish resistant. This makes gold filled is a popular and affordable alternative to solid gold!

 

Unfortunately, no. Due to the nature of hand stamping (hammering letters into the piece) slight impressions may come through on the reverse side. I prefer not to stamp on the back to ensure the beauty and quality of the piece is maintained.

Every order comes with a branded high quality microfiber jewellery pouch. There is also the option to purchase a premium sliding gift box for the jewellery pouch to elevate your gifting experience.

Yes, our discs are available for purchase without a chain. There are two options when purchasing an additional disc
1) I am adding this disc to a product in my cart, a great option when wanting to build your own necklace OR
2) I am purchasing this disc as a product on it’s own (there is an additional cost for this option which covers the creation, polishing & packaging of an individual pendant) If you have previously purchased an Em & Eve piece and are wanting to add to it, please email me for a discount code as returning customer.

 

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES

Yes, you can exchange your chain should you find the length chosen is not suitable.  To do so you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.  Please keep in mind a small fee for postage will be incurred for the exchange and depending on if your sizing up or down, there may also be a small fee or credit for the size difference.

Due to the personalised nature of the jewellery,  I cannot offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or if you have made an error when submitting your order. 

A replacement or refund will be offered should an error be made during production, or where there is a clear manufacturers fault.  Every piece is rigorously inspected and tested to ensure only the highest quality leaves the studio.

 

Chains are covered by a 3 month warranty for any defects that occur with the clasp/clasp mechanism.

For chain breakages, these are assessed on a case by base basis to determine if the breakage was caused by a manufacturers default or wear & tear.  There are many external factors to consider with breakages ie , repetitive pulling/tugging by young children, the chain being caught while removing clothing or many small pulls over time that damage the chain until it eventually it snaps.

Wear & tear breakages are not covered under warranty. 
Please contact me for assessment/inspection of your chain. An inspection (even via a photo) can usually  identify if a chain has broken under stress as the force will distort the shapes of the links.

Should the breakage be deemed a manufacturers fault then I will repair the chain within the 3 month warranty period or offer a replacement.
